So June 10th will make it one year in Israel. And what an eventful year it has been!!! Some highlights...
Got a job almost immediately, found another job 6 months in, and am now working as a tax preparer.
Did an ulpan to learn the language and learned some.
Traveled throughout the country and even was able to take a family trip through Europe.
Found an apartment, then found another apartment and settled in.
Bought a car, and used it to make life much easier for us.
Got on a diet and fitness plan, have lost almost 40 pounds, and feel much better.
Katrina is finishing her training and is planning to tutor students in English (website to come).
Zoe has almost completed her first year at her new school, has made many new friends, and seems very happy.
We have a cat.
All in all, I would classify it as a successful year. We have learned so much and look forward to more exciting adventures in the next year...stay tuned!!!!
